Re: Where to buy my G in So. Cal.

Just this past Monday night at Miller Infiniti - I picked my new G35 Coupe 6MT. Great sales staff and crew. I was in and out of there under 2 hours - which includes negotiating, credit checking, the finance crap, the complete overview (tour) of the car, etc.

Oh, and I got mine for well over a $1,000 off MSRP.

I need to know how to make one of those signature deals. Is that automatic when you post?

Anyways, I got a 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT / DG / Graphite / Premium / DVD Nav / Splash

$39k out the door after tax, license, and fees. I got a G35C 6MT DG/G/Premium/Nav/Splash/Trunk mat (which costs near to nothing). The salesman was this russian guy named Andy. Tell him Steven sent you. Miller Infiniti was really pushing because they wanted to make room for their 2005s.

Don't mess around.

Shop via the internet for your pricing. You can shop all of the dealers at once, while sipping a cold one and watching Amish in the City.

You will NOT get a better price sitting in the showroom than you will from the Fleet (internet) Dept.

I got my G through the internet dept at Costa Mesa. Ask for Patrick Yamada. Great guy. You can handle everything via the phone and fax and simply head down to the dealership and pick up your vehicle and sign some quick papers.

Much better service than I got through sales at Monrovia Metro Infiniti through the showroom.

Okay guys, so far the best I've gotten is $1300 off MSRP, should I keep looking? I've gone from $700 to $1000 to $1300.

Coming soon 2005 G35c Sport w/Navi

Miller Infinti in Van Nuys is pretty cool. I bought in in Sept 03 so I was one of the guys stuck with MSRP. I actually didn't do much there since I had test driven and everything at other dealerships closer to my house. But I wanted my exact G right there and I found it on the internet via the Infiniti website and called them up. They had my baby exactly like I wanted it so I arranged a pick up and everything was very smooth.

Re: Where to buy my G in So. Cal.

Okay it's been a few months since the last post on this thread so I thought I'd revisit. I might be purchasing a G coupe or sedan soon and was wondering if anyone has recent good/bad experiences with any dealers both for sales and service? I live in Torrance area, so especially interested in South Bay Infiniti...are they still as terrible as all the historical posts or have they gotten any better (and yes I've searched and read all the posts on them in the past)?

You dont have to have your car serviced at the dealership where you buy it so why do you need to buy it close to home?

I bought at Cerritos but live very close(like within less than 3 miles) from Miller.

Re: Where to buy my G in So. Cal.

I had a good experience with Infiniti of Santa Monica. But I went through the internet and worked with the internet sales manager. I just got an '04 6MT with the premium package for $1,000 over invoice (approx $1,800 off MSRP). At first I thought I could get better, but one thing finally convinced me. I tried out carsdirect.com and talked to someone there. In case you are not familiar, they are basically car "brokers" that try to work out the best deal with several dealerships in the area for a small fee. Well, when I told the carsdirect.com guy the deal I was offered by Infiniti of SM, he not only told me that he could not beat it with any of the dealers he was working with, but he suggested I should buy it. (I think he really didn't believe I was getting that price and figured I would call him back). Anyway, I called Infiniti of SM the next day and got the deal. I felt the service there was really good and professional. The sales manager did not pressure me to buy at all even when I was leaving the dealership the first time (before I came back).
I haven't been there for service yet, though. Only had it for 3 weeks!

Re: Where to buy my G in So. Cal.

I bought my 6MT sedan from South Bay Infiniti this past June. I was using the VPP plan though, so my pricing was pretty much set [i.e. I was not worrying about haggling with them]. They accepted that without any hassle, and they were fine to deal with. The transaction went smoothly and quickly [they even had to trade with Cerritos to bring up the car that I wanted - no problems all within one day]. I have not gone back there for service though, so I have no idea how their service dept. is.

Re: Where to buy my G in So. Cal.

Thanks all.
Stern, I know this, but my past experience has been a dealer sometimes will treat you better in service if you also bought the car from them. I understand the service varies from dealership to dealership...just one minor consideration.

G35nm8tr, what was the name of your salesperson?

jstwong, what is VPP?

Btw, I recently went to SB Infiniti and they have a zillion 04 G sedans just sittin around rustin in case anyone wants to get a good deal...they practically begged me to buy one...
