stock cd player problems

stock cd player problems

hey so today i was cruising down sunset and all of a sudden the cd i was playing just stops playing and it tries to go to the next cd (btw this is just the stock 6 disc cd player) and it keeps trying to go to the next cd and it wont play, so take it out and put it back in and it tries to load it and reads "check disc" and it wont play any cds but the radio works fine, anyone got any ideas ? or how to fix it ? thnx

^ I had my headunit replaced just before the factory warranty ran out.

i had the same problem so i took it to the dealer and had it replaced under warranty and two months later started having the same problem..piece of s***t...

I had exactly the same problem with my 04 coupe. I tried to take all the discs out and put them in again, disconnect battery to reset the audio, hit the unit on the side(@_@), hit every button on the unit, and etc. After about 3 hours of trying different ****s, mine started to play again!! I don't know how I did it, but one thing I know is it fixed mine why not yours............. GOoD luck

i was told by the tech at infiniti that all newer car like our G's have a chip inside and if u start playing burned CD's that chip will go crazy and stop reading CD's...sucks but true..

^ Well them lemme ask u what's the point of having an mp3 cd player? The only way you're going to have an mp3 disc is by burning a collective cd.
