YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
Any rigidity one had, would be from the fender and underlip being at a 90 degree angle acting as a "cross brace".... The second you roll that bad boy flat, the rigidity is significantly diminished. Thus I said, losing rigidity is just a sacrifice you make to fit bigger wheels. Because most of you roll your fenders flat anyway.
I'll say this once, I wouldnt be doing this if I didn't already research and talked to shane. He's more confident in pulling my fenders slightly when there is less material to pull (no extra rolled fender underlayer). That is the sole reason I am cuttnig my fender and then having him pull it.
Think about it this way, is it easier to pull 1mm gauge of metal or 2mm gauge of metal?
obscenely huge wheel? Do I look like the type that would get obscenely huge wheels that will stick so far past my fenders? Why do you talk so much shiet bro, just let people mod their shiet the way they want, I'm not doing it for you nor to impress you, trust me. If you have nothing to add, GTFO my thread.

Basically you got 2 options..
Dont cut and pull and have a slightly wavy fender
Cut and pull, lose some rigidity but have a smoother pull/flare
personal preference...
