Yeah im sitting about 3-5 miles from the flames scary stuff everyone above where my grandma and aunt live had to evacuate mandatory...

 

^ Definitely some scary stuff. Over 42,000 acres burned and less than 5% contained. We lost 2 brothers in red over the weekend. God help the boys fight this one.

This picture is very eerie. It almost makes it seem like we got nuked.

 

Yea I'm like 2 miles from the flames as well (in La Canada).

There is an endless barrage of sirens going up my street (Angeles Crest Hwy 2).

Here is a view of the fire from one of the nicer homes in La Canada.
