Is there a way to get there thru Carbon Canyon? I think there would be less traffic that way for me living in Brea.

yes.go all the way until you hit the end of carbon canyon (where you can only make left or right) that will be chino hills parkway,turn right and after about 2 miles,you'll see 71.hop on 71 north then get off next exit which it grand.it's on your left.
