Down Shift Graphics Roof Vinyl Install
Looks good, but over time it will fade you won't have that original gloss look
Sucks...but that's when you decide to get it painted and it looks 10x better. Congrats on the new mod, looks like a very clena job

why are you so against roof vinyl?
it's a much wiser decision that can be easily removed.

Well for my work, you can ask andy aka bluebatmobile and look at all the car he makes vinyl for and ive done most of them, ive been doing this since late 05-early 06. so if you want an experience installer with recommendations from most of the people i do installs for its worth it. my prices are cheap also, i do talk to other installs around the country, i.e. the east coast installer will charge 60 for a roof intalled, extra for sunroof and roof fin. i charge a flat rate or 60. go to a tint shop and ask them to install some tail light overlays youll see that they will charge up to 150 to install and dont guarantee work
^^^ yup i think it you had DG coupe with impul sides if im correct and the other guy had a blue g... i did his tails and i did your rear valence... thanks for chiming in bro
I've never argued that vinyl is cheaper and easier to remove - those are facts. But it's also a fact that vinyl will never share the same qualities of paint - the gloss & shine, the reflection, the "pop." Your picture shows this very clearly. Vinyl is a great alternative to paint, not a replacement.
If you wanna go the cheap route, by all means, go for it. If you want the best looking option, then sometimes you've got to pay to play. But if you're only interested in your car looking good from a distance...

Because it is clearly inferior to paint.
