Photo shoot location?

I need a fresh spot. I've exhausted all of mine. Anyone that finds me a good spot can tag along my shoot and I'll snap a couple of your ride, too.

I'm looking for the ULTIMATE location. The one where I can take the defining picture of my photography career (to date). I've got a few under my belt, but I just want a location where I can do work and really WOW people...including myself.

Post pictures of what you've got.

Edit: some examples of spots I could DO WORK at.

^^^out of state

^^^anyone that can get me access to a studio that can fit and allow cars...

^^^in national city. i might actually check this out when i go back to SD...if i'm not crammed with school work.

One of the toughest things is that my car is gray. It doesn't "pop" as easily as red, blue, and even white.

^^^There pictures are awesome, no doubt. Oliver is a fantastic photographer. The locations aren't anything spectacular, but the colors red and blue just make everything prettier. Tough to do with DG.

How far are you willing to drive for a photoshoot? Shoot locations for a car, or in general? Where are you driving from? What are you looking for? There's stuff everywhere...

Here are some ideas... They're all pretty old and all taken with a point and shoot. The car has a different hood, springs, side markers, 3rd brake light, etc. now.

Desert

Behind Lowes in Rancho Santa Margarita (check out that bad *** stock suspension)

405/5 merge

Inside a parking structure at the Irvine Spectrum

East of the Spectrum

Next to a Home Depot in Simi Valley (this is more or less what it looks like now - minus side markers)

A great location in Ontario

Looking for something "different." Parking garages are everywhere, sure. Dessert, cool...but not what I'm looking for. Parking lots...no comment lol. Some cool architecture would be cool to shoot with. But the challenge to that is security.

I'm located in 91741 (626) and am willing to drive an hour or so...but the spot better be damn good!

Cool architecture... "different." Got it. I'll look for something "different" near you and see what I can find. That 405/5 parking lot might have been good for night shoots due to the massive concrete columns or wide open spaces with little/no lighting, but it's not close to you so not even worth the effort. The one in Ontario was more about the large clean wall with little/no distracting lines...

I found a bunch of potential places at Cal-Poly Pomona. I'll look for more, this is just what I could find from an hour with Google Maps/Street View.

hey calvin! There is a spot in corona off of magnolia exit from the 15 freeway. I know its a little far but i like that spot alot. The ground is bricked with a waterfountain in the center and tall buildings around.

The address:
1250 Corona Pointe Ct.
Corona, 92879

Thanks. Notice the 'Permit required for photography' sign? . No one really cares though, at least, during all occasions that I've been there.

there's a culd-a-sac out by me that's pretty ok...
here's a sample pic of what MIKE shot for me

If you're in SD or something I wouldn't go out of my way for the spot, but it works well if you're local. It's in an odd side street past any business there, you'd be able to set up in the middle of the street with no issues really on a weekend.
