What's your goal? Doors will help out alot for midbass gain and reducing vibrations and some rattles (vibration caused by airwaves hitting metal and vibration is plastic on metal hitting each other..or two objects hitting each other.

Trunk will help with bass gain and remove some unwanted noises.

I'll be PM'ing everyone beginning tomorrow as well, probably towards the evening.

I know im probably too late. If not, PM me asap. I will message you my phone number in case you need to contact me quicker. I keep forgetting to get back at you Levon

If my goals are to reduce the amount of road noise and exhaust drone, what would be the most essential areas to sound deaden without breaking the bank?

And based on those recommended areas, how much sq ft would be required?

Are you only doing damplifier pro? Would it be unwise to use damplifier pro in the most essential areas and then use damplifier lite for the rest of the areas to keep weight (and cost) down?

Do you have an idea how long and wide the roof is? I'm going to guess either a trunk pack (20 sq. ft.) or bulk pack (36.5 sq. ft.) would do the trick. With the bulk pack it will definitely be enough and you'll have some to spare to double up or use in other areas. I'd also use some Luxury Liner Pro, that will help quite a bit. The thing is, I don't know how much room there is under the headliner. Anyone know?

Reason why I mention is because if the luxury liner pro and damp pro is going to be too thick, it'll be too difficult to put the headliner back on. You could go with the regular luxury liner if that's the case or even rattle pad. I'll PM you later on today when I get off work.

Not too late Henry

It would be really tough to determine what route to go with....what's your budget so I can work with that. There's several options. I'm going to guess the floor is where you'd get most of the noise so doing that and then the doors would be a good idea. Using Luxury Liner Pro and even overkill Pro with those 2 would be even more effective.

As for square footage, if you do the doors it will be approx 20 sq. ft. The floor, about 35 sq ft I think.

I would actually target the areas that have the most thin sheet metal. Any solid areas are not as much of a worry. I can't get discounts on damplifier lite but I can on damplifier...but the discount on the damp pro is much greater with the pro than it is with the regular damplifier. I can get it on some of the other products mentioned....like the overkill, rattle pad, luxury liner...and the spectrum sludge as well...that could be another option....the spectrum sludge. It's the liquid form of deadener....here's the thing though. It will dry within a few hours, but will take a month to fully cure and it's usually best to leave the panels off for that month, whereas the deadener mat you can put the panels back on immediately.

It really depends on your budget so let me know what that is and I'll give you as money options as possible to work with.
