I am actually a canon person as well...I have the canon elph SD870is but when I read the reviews for the slrs, nikon reigned over the canons. But it really depends on what u wanna do. The nikon D90 has a HD video recorder as well

wait, who is on eastvale? is there a Wendys in there too? I live 3 minutes from Best Buy on Limonite. I saw a silver or was is a DG coupe not too long ago. It had a dent on the side..but ya i took a picture of the car. It had enkei rpf1s with brembos. Its amazing how close up the nikon goes and extremely detailed from far away

So does mine, the t1i. You're right, it really comes down to preference. I've always stuck with Canon's, but the image quality is in the user more than the camera itself. The only reason I've stuck with Canon is I think the menu system is easier to manage. Other than that, a DSLR is a DSLR.
