I'm thinking about going to San Diego in a few days. Will anyone recommend a good beach to go to... something like Santa Monica where there are some good shops and food around.. Also I'm gonna be parasailing at San Diego Parasailing Adventures (1641 Quivera Rd.).. is that area an okay one?

I am still on the fence about going to Santa Barbara or San Diego for a day trip.

Mission Bay = relaxing, grass, camping, good view, free Sea World Fireworks at night, jetski.

La Jolla = Artsy Fartsy, galleries, overpriced goods, retirement paradise, cute bossy California Sea Lions, not so cute Sea Lion Poop piles, expensive but good restaurants.

Del Mar = Nice and relaxing, cruise the streets, shops, good food, reasonably price. Not sure about beach.

Coronado = very romantic, excellent view, beautiful hotel, lot of tourists, worth the money IMO.

Have fun out there. Tons of mountain roads in SD.

The closest thing to Santa Monica down in Daygo has to be Pacific Beach.

Heh; who brought this thread back up? I started looking through the forums again maybe four days ago at work.

After thanksgiving, my brother crashed my car on the 110 and that got me really bummed out. Almost gave up on the car... I went to the Philippines mid december and got back in Feb. The car looked like crap though... so I talked to the shop and they agreed to repaint, I had the car for 4 days then got rear-ended on my way home from work on the 134 and just got the car back this past tuesday. So I've just been bummed out about the G, rather having a tainted one...

The plenum spacer got me excited and I've been emailing Tony C. trying to set up a date/time I can pick up a 1/2" kit--anyone have a contact number for him?
