i'm getting a CF engine cover made by a shop that I was referred to me by my good friends at Superior Nissan.

i'm wondering if the cover turns out really nice, how many of you would be interested in buying one?

maybe i can set up a group buy if i can get a few people...

i can't say much detail, but i am going to the shop this evening. I'll keep you guys posted.

CF cover like a 350Z or G35?

I was thinking of picking up a 350Z cover this month!

ok, so i went to the shop last night.

i must say i'm really impressed with the quality of their work.

they had several hoods for various makes and cars, including Acura Legend, Integra, Honda Civics, Accords, BMW 3 series, Nissan Maxima, and even for the new Hummer H2.

their hoods and other carbon parts are very good quality, and the guys at the shop(gary and julian) are both very excited about the engine covers.

they think they can have a prototype ready by next week, so i'll take some pictures as soon as it gets ready.

once the carbon fiber cover is ready, i'm going to set up a group buy, so if anyone's interested, please post here and let me know.

joshua, it'll be a g35 engine cover...not the Z....i dropped off my engine cover at customcarbons so they can prototype a cf version...are you interested??

i want one that goes over the vortech belts, like he guy that had one at the show on sunday;

gary and julian told me that they'll accept custom applications. however, the first thing now is to get the OEM cover prototype, and we'll add and change little things here and there....so hold on to your horses!!

Andrew, I would be interested in a Z cover because I want to see the plenum, if they a CF cover Z style I'm in.

G2FAST, I ordered a 350z CF engine cover on ebay for about $108, its very nice and good quality. Personally I think it looks better than the full engine cover.
