Thanks for having me, guys. It was nice to meet some SoCal G35 drivers and get a feel for what a different club is doing down here.

If you're ever up north I hope to see you guys there!

Yes, Clint, that day was awesome! I was REAL happy with my N/A #'s! I expected n the 250's, but 265 was a pleasure to see and sort of took the STING out of the "lug wall" incident! =) I look forward to seeing the results, once posted.

2 G or not 2 G, there's no question!

Re: 9/4/04 Dyno Pics, Comments, Bragging Rights, E
had to leave early on dynoday(Saturday), so i dynoed today at 11:30 am ......temp was around 90 and humidity was @ 61! i'm happy with the hp/tq numbers, however, running lean between 2-5k rpm at low to mid 15s..........very anxious to see everyones numbers as well......

comment/observation: was it just me or did i noticed there was this core group that kinda huddled amongst themselves........
a fellow g'r that saw the dyno day post and just showed up notice the same.....the few that i did manage to converse with were cool ( E_K and the photographer..sorry, didn't get your name)....

Re: 9/4/04 Dyno Pics, Comments, Bragging Rights, E
doesnt the type of dyno that they use actually yield higher numbers than a dynojet. So these numbers are about 8-12 hp higher ???

I thought someone posted that?

I'm not sure there was a "core" group. I think its just being familiar with someone makes it easier to converse with them. I personally am not the kind that just goes up to someone I dont know and intro myself. Kinda shy I guess. but that just means I lose out on making new friends once in a while. If you see me at any of the events, please intro yourself anytime. More than happy to meet a fellow G owner and a new friend.

peace.

E_K........243.8hp and 245.9tq............With aftermarket plenum and your portmatching method, maybe i can get to the 254hp like you!

GP1........it's just a subtle thing i noticed, no biggie. i'm with you in terms of making new friends that roll around in g35s as well.....coupe owners too! :>

DiamondG..........those are old school wheels......i have them on there cuz they're 5lbs lighter per corner vs the 17"ers........subtle thing for speed.

jimthegreek02..........i believe you're right......the readings are at the hub, less inertia vs tire on rollers, more inertia.........anyone have scientific proof of this?
