Hey whats up everyone... Anyone know of a good shop to have a Transgo installed in the San Gabriel Valley or Los Angeles area? Tried searching but didn't really come up with much. Would appreciate any info or recommendations from you guys. Thanks

Found a place in Bell Gardens "Performance Transmissions" for 220$ w/fluids, or about 400 w/o fluids.. Anyone have any experience with them? Or any other recommendations?? Anyone?? Well, hope this helps. Or there is always GTM or Corner 3 garage..

Give Seb at Specialty-Z a call. They are over in Chatsworth and their site is specialtyz.com.

^ I've called specialty z before regarding a transgo install. They said they don't do them cause it's a PITA.

Corner3 does it for like $820 out the door. Includes the trango kit, fluids, tax, labor. Only reason I haven't done it yet is because they require the car for 1-2 days.

Hahaha. It never occured to me to ask him...has he ever done a transgo install before? I wouldn't mind spending the whole day there if I have to, if he could do it in one day.

Just a little history...Pollo was the head mechanic at a Tranny only shop in El Segundo for more than 10 years.

^ Yeah, i remember you recommending them to me before in the past, but when I called them, they said they don't do them anymore . I'd say i called them about 6 weeks ago.

James, I'll be going back to R&J in a couple days to pick up some parts i left to be painted, and so they can work on my sides. I'll talk to Pollo about installing the transgo, thanks!
