Hello guys, first of all, I'm not really totally active on these forums, but did want to let you guys know of my experience with this company, and my overall dissatisfaction. I would never recommend that anyone go there unless they want to wait months on end, and not get a call back from them for a wheel repair.
CLIFFS NOTES: They said 5-7 days, then called back and said a LITTLE bit longer. This was in March. It is July 9th and now I am told I can expect to have them back tomorrow.
Okay, here's my two cents: I bought some wheels second hand, and went to US Wheel to get them refinished and repaired. When I got there, the gentleman that helped me, Paul, was very friendly and gave me a thorough explanation of what he was going to do, and what his concerns were with my wheels. He gave me an expectation to have them done within about a week and a half, but would call me if anything changes. Well the following week he calls me and says it's gonna take a while longer. No big deal, or so I thought, as I expected to maybe get my wheels back in about a month or so.
Well the weeks piled on, and while I admittedly did not call them every week for an update, I did not feel I had to. It wasn't until I received my cashback for my new tires (which comes 60 days after purchase) that I realized it'd been two months since I dropped these wheels off. I called and asked for Paul, and was told that I can expect a call back regarding this next week, as he had already left for the day (it was a Friday, and they aren't open on Saturdays).
Of course I did not get a call back the following week, and I must have called back five or six times, without EVER receiving a call back. Then, lo and behold, I finally talk to the "owner", who assured me that they were going to finish my wheels, and have them done this past week, ready for pick up on the 2nd or 3rd of July. Of course on Friday, I speak to a DIFFERENT person (the son of the owner, and brother of the guy I worked with initially), who assures me that he will work with me personally, and uses his personal cell phone to connect with me. Currently, I am expecting my wheels to be done tomorrow.
So basically I have talked to the guy I originally worked with three times, have never received a call back, nor did I get any progress updates for over 2 months. When they "explained" the delay, they simply stated my wheels required more work than they initially thought. They have NEVER apologized for the extremely long delay, or for the fact that they are lacking in customer service.
And I'm also not the only one, as I ran into another thread regarding their issues while searching Google:

Quick update... I got the wheels back today, and they did turn out really nice... worth a three month delay? Nope, but the guy that I worked with in the end, Brian, was the only one that provided great customer service, and he did apologize and treated me very well. My final recommendation: Don't go to US Wheel unless you need to save $$$, and ONLY deal with Brian.
