First tint ticket and I got a few questions

I'm an '06 G35 coupe owner (located in San Diego) and I just got my first tint ticket and after researching it on Google and these forums I've come across some conflicting information on California tint laws and I was hoping someone could clear things up.

1) Does anything happen if I get pulled over again after getting the tint fixed, ticket signed off, then the tint put back on? Can they see if I've gotten previous tint tickets and give me something more serious than a fix-it ticket?

2) I heard of several people going in to court without fixing the tint and they just get the ticket signed off. Could anyone from SD tell me their experiences with getting tint tickets signed off?

1. once you get the second ticket, its another fix a ticket. Records will show that its your second ticket and the fine will be more than the previous, but its only the 25.00 if signed off. A third ticket will require you to show proof in court your tint has been removed. 4th time its a straight up fine and other stuff.

2. Now it requires a stamp on the ticket showing the local pd dept info. and of course officers name.

if you have no connection... then get it removed, signed off and stamped, then pay the 25.00 fee. or pay the Tint Fee and move on.

hope some of this helps. Others will chime in soon.
