Oceanside, eh? I'll take a look at my schedule, but if I'm free, I'll do the drive down there to join you guys...

 

OK.....

Everyone that would like to roll in together, we will meet at 8am at the Irvine Spectrum (you know, where the big ferris wheel is) in the parking lot off of Alton Pkwy and the 5 freeway.

There is a Robinson's May, and we usually park behind that (on the freeway side). It allows for easy re-entrance to the freeway.

Please be on time. We will only wait 20 mins. Please get gas prior to arriving, as it is hard to pull 5, 10, 15 cars into a local gas station while we wait for you.

Caravan rules Ed leads the pack and follows the local ordinances (within reason [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]) and Ted brings up the rear. Everybody drives with headlights on.

There will be no racing or show boating on the freeway, no matter what happens in the lane next to you. There is usually no shortage of guys wanting to run you. Just smile and wave at them as they make fools of themselves.

When we change lanes, Ed will pull to the left and everybody following him falls in ahead of him - slowing for the next car behind them to pull in front. That will put Ted in the lead at the end. Repeat as necessary, with Ted and Ed switching head and tail positions. This way nobody gets lost and we minimize the risk of accidents.

We plan to roll in at 9AM. If you have an FRS radio, please bring it. We will operate on frequency 3 - 5.

Hey a whole bunch of Z guys are meeting at Irvine Spectrum as well around 8:15. Maybe we can get a large caravan going from everyone around the area. It's like invading Oceanside from the North [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Definitely.... that would look absolutely sick driving down the 5 fwy! We'll start rolling in at 8am at the Spectrum (south east side).

With a group so large, perhaps you could also suggest the 350 folks get meet up at 8, in case you've got folks running on Chinese Time.

This event will not be as large as Extreme or Showoff.. .more like the performance nissan meet.

I am going to be bringing down Josh's Truck for the show but requested to be located with you guys. I'll coordinate with Ed to catch up with the caravan when it comes through Mission Viejo.
