Took my car to an autocross event in Irvine, CA

I just thought I would share a short video of my experience at an autocross event at the El Toro marine base in Irvine, put together buy OC Race Craft. Honestly for the money it was a great event.

Yes I know I hit a lot of cones on the first run in the video lol It was my first time at an autocross. But I got the hang out if and got fastest lap of the day.

yea u look slow, but i think more time u will get the hang of it.. i wont to do something like that.. u might want to dry and reduce the weight in ya car

Pretty good run, it was probably first run from what I can tell... Keep up the good driving! nice ride...

They have an event every quarter.

slow?!!! lol It kinda does look like its slow on video but I did turn in a faster time then a mustang V8, s2000, and miata, all fixed up for the track. but that doesnt really mean anything cause for all i know they could be slow also. lol

yes it was my first time.

I am really lazy to drive anywhere so that is why I went to the Irvine one cause its local. lol

Plus I dont know much about scca events, like how much are they, how many laps do you get to run, what the modification rules are etc. if you are willing to share some info that would be awesome.

nice job. Looks like fun! you can really see how fat our cars are and how you have to push all that weight through the corners lol

it says entry fee is $30, scca weekend membership is $15 and prolly SD region solo card is $15..
i had 4 run on my last event in LA region

This is nice. I would love entering one of these. Question though, Do they ask you for licence plate number or VIN? I heard your warranty can be void if you are found on these events!
