That really sucks bro!
So what exactly happened on the freeway?
Were you braking, taking a turn before the car pitched out or just hit deep enough water?
Guess I won't be buying falkens anytime soon.

I was on the freeway, was in the middle of switching lanes then all of a sudden the car started to loose it and went straight to the wall.
was travelling at about 55-60MPH

i think i hit a nasty water puddle or something. SUCKS!

dude.. are you sure you didn't hit one of those crater sized potholes in the first two lanes over there?? I avoid those lanes like the plague cause they look like they can launch a rocket if you hit it right...

1 of our few extra life's spent when it counted.

Spend them when they count, we all have a very few to draw from so keep them close. Good for you that you are safe, and so sorry about your car. Just a thought, maybe there is a section on this board, but if not then maybe a "bad-road" section could be set up, maybe? Here is a few spots on our freeways at issue, by my witness, The 60 freeway east bound over the Diamond Bar hill, number 2 lane prior to the Phillips Ranch/Chino Hills off-ramp, a hole at least 12' long which fills the lane in width and has to be a good 4" to 5" drop, yikes. This subject lane has been re-patched numerous times only to be torn out by the traffic load again and again. Funny as it is this hill is within in a quarter mile of a full on Cal-Trans service yard at the 60/71 transition. This hole can be observed at any time, only try the number 4 lane to catch a gander. Actually on both sides of the 60-freeway at the Diamond Bar hill, the roadway is very jacked up. To remedy this issue as best I can, I will take the car-pool diamond lane (sorry even if alone to get a safe lane) from the 71 fwy interchange going west to the 57 interchange due to the messed up lanes. And I will often take the trucking lane most of the way from the 57 freeway interchange on the east bound section, past the 71 freeway.

Take care all.
