Dissapointment.....

Hey guys,

I was pretty dissapinted yesturday at my Chairty event. Although it was not held especially for the G35driver guys, it was still a charity event. At least 30 G35s signed up and only 4 G35driver guys showed up??

It was a meet, like how people wanted and it was a show for those that wanted to be judged and win a price. USMC was there to collect toys to donate for the holiday....

Anyways, if you sign up for an event, please show up or let the planner know you are not going to make it....

Sigh....

Ed

Yea Lately, people have not been showing up to meets. Even thou i did not sign up for this meet, i planned one a couple weeks ago. I had like 10 guys sing up. Only 1 person came.

Thats why people do not try to throw meets anymore. Most of the time people FLAKE out.

I was there pretty much the entire time. I met up with Josh and Jerry at 7am to caravan down to the pond. when we got there only 3 Gs from G35driver were there...me, jerry and josh. we even got to hooters at 12pm just like it was posted but no one showed up until we were pretty much done eating. i would've stayed longer at hooters but i couldn't stand around waiting for the cops to come any longer...anyone know what happened after the cops came?

Ed, he is not talking about the cops that came to the show, he is talking about the cops that were going to come to hooters because of one of the Z guys didn't get the discount he was promissed by the waitress (long story and i don;t know the ending!!!)

and to the flakers that didn't show, i say we have them banned from this site

I was actually thinking about heading over to hooters after the toys for tots event but I came alone and wasn't sure if the TT guys were gonna head over there also. Damn, I'm sure I would have gotten good service if I went there. =P

Yeah...I was thinking about giving a small speech but the Sergeant gave one and it was kind of lame. haha. But here goes...
Thanks for everyone who came out and thanks even more to those that donated for Toys for Tots. It's awesome to see people come out for a charity event like this and help out the children who are in need. Also, thanks to Team Transport for setting up this event.

Yeah...something like that. Also, been hearing a lot about the crappy service in this forum and my350z. Now I'm glad I didn't go. Hooters girls are usually nice...what happened? haha

Talking

Our waitress was cool. Even when I stared right into her big beautifull eyes and said they were the most beautifull eyes I had ever seen...problem was, I was staring at the owls eyes on her streched out t-shirt.

HOOOOOOOOOOTERS!!!!!!!!

Oh and thanks to everone who did come out, it was a very worthwile event.

Rudy
