i got lips through hookup and did all the works myself still cost almost that amount for only 2 wheels, how the heck he could do all 4 wheels for only $400?

i talked to him few months ago about rebarrel my 19" bbs lm 2piece wheels and he qouted me 1600 for those barrels only, not included labor

 

It's not for new barrels.. I think he just modifies the ones u have.. he said he can't get 2 piece barrels..

 

oh, some of the shops that i know can do that, they basically remove the centers and weld them back that's all. thanks for clarification though

I basically replenished their stock of lips since the company they were working for didn't accept just a 4 lip order

 

yes it can be done and as far as affect the rims, i don'tknow, it depends which shop you go to. there's a shop called inland wheels center have done many sets with no problem.
