California Adventure or Universal Studio's

Kids want me to take them to a theme park.

My boys are 13, 10 and 3.

I would love to spend a day at Magic Mountain on the "big boy" rides, but my kids are too small. We went to Disneyland and Knotts last year already.

So I've narrowed it down to CA or US.

Which one would you recommend for a family outing with kids? I would do both, but tickets aren't cheap, especially Disney and Universal isn't that much cheaper.

We will probably be tired, so we may need a room for the night, too.

Thanks!

I would go to california adventure over universal studios. Only downside with this choice is your wallet will suffer more lol

Universal's alright, but CA is a little more geared towards kids.

California adventure for sure for the little ones. I believe they just opened up a new Cars 2 attraction there.

California adventures, more grown up, still fun rides.

Universal studios = ghetto cholos left to right, i went there on valentines with my gf and half the guys had plucked eye brows and had staring problems.

Just buy the US annual pass and they finance, no interest and only $30 down payment..gives you something to do when you have no idea what to do.

I bought it and sometimes just show up on the spur of the moment..Wife packs some sammishes and we spend no money..leave drinks and food in the car.

Dude you in SD so you can talk to one of your military friends to help you out w/ the tickets so you can get the military discount. I would go w/ California Adventures. More fun for the kids.

i would use choose CA, but i would try to put it off as long as possible and wait til Cars town open. Shouldnt be that much longer. What about LEGO land its closer to SD?

California Adventure for sure! Alot more things to do an most of the rides would be geared to your kids' age group! Also, universal, i think, has a lot less attractions and more on just something you'd want to take pictures of than having a fun experience!
