Need some local advice guys.
I'm looking to repalce my brake pads, not sure if I need all 4 or just the fronts.
I wanted to see if anyone knew of a shop that charges a reasonable price around the Pasadena area for labor.
I'll prob get the pads online.
I've been getting quotes for around $80 per axle.
I know it's not that difficult to DIY, but I do not have the area in which to do them.
I'd rather just take it to a shop and get it done.
Thanks guys.

I know i don't have the tool to push the pistons back. R & J should have them and install them for you while you sit back and chat to some friendly people.

You can reset the caliper with the old pad and a c clamp. Also, If u haven't found anyone yet, I can switch out ur pads for half of what the shops charge. I'm in west la, let me know.

Just go to autozone and get the $50 duralast gold ceramic w/ lifetime warranty. You can exchange them for brand new ones under the warranty right when they are low life. Just say there is seething wrong with them and you get brand new pads. My buddy and I have been getting free brake pads for years doing this method.

Yeah, when I had an apartment, I would just do the work on my car (at the time a AWD Honda CIVIC wagon) in my parking space. Not a lot of room, but i would do it. Of course I would replace the drive shaft U-joints on my old Toyota truck at an older apartment with two 2x4s and a hammer in a parking space, because I couldn't afford a mechanic.

Later,

Ray

$80 per axle I can do it for well less than half that. LMK when you'd like to get it done.
