Yo, I usually go to the Hermosa pier. It's more laid back than Hollywood and a lot of the places are cover-free. Sangrias is a neat little place to go with a $10 cover (which is good cause it weeds out the rif-raf) and it has a couple little dance floors and bars. Sharkees is a total meat market, but can be fun if you win a happy hour there with some friends. Underground further inland from the pier and some other places are fun too. I think its a great place for those tired of the traffic and parking/valet in Hollywood. There is a public garage next to the pier for like $10 but it has tiny parking spaces (I got a door ding already). Go up to Valley and Ardmore and there is 12 hour free parking (like 4 good blocks from the pier). Lemme know if you're ever going and I'll cruise- I haven't been out in a while.

Regarding the meet in Hollywood, I strongly disagree with that idea unless there is some cool/safe parking. Unless we're there to simply party and don't care about the cars, I think it would be bad to try to go. Just my 2 cents...

Miyagi's-I know the valet owner, most bartenders, door guys, head of security, can get a booth anytime. All this comes in handy.

Spanish Kitchen-Friends with managers, know most of the waiters/waitresses,bartenders,and valet manager.

Saddle Ranches-Know the owner and GM,door guy is good friend, and the VIP booths are run from a guy I know. The VIP booths are cool cause around 11:30 they let nothing but girls up on stage and no guys.

That's what I meant by VIP. I was wondering if anybody else has got some connections like this.

I spend a lot of money and am really cool with everyone I meet. Bottom line, you take care of these guys and they will take care of you. I started just by knowing the bartenders and all the rest grew from there. I hooked up Kawika for his birthday cause I like to spread the love.

If your ever in Temecula on Thursdays thru Saturdays. You should check out Silk at the Pechanga Casino. $10.00 cover, and if you want I could probably get some one a couple of free passes. I don't go there too often because I work at the casino, but the place has been packed since it opened.

Later,

Ray

LA: sunset room, level 3, highlands, century club

Long Beach: V20

OC: sutra, Pierce Street annex, shark club, boogie
* I personally don't go to boogie anymore..feel way too old for that place.

That's about it. And by the way Patrick... girls don't like to be picked up at those places you mention... at least not the good girls. LOL.
