Paintless Ding/Dent removal by Shanesg

Hey all, although some of you already know, for those who don't yet I am now offering paintless dent removal services to go along with my Fender rolling and Installs Since it will most likely get lost in my other threads i decided to make a thread specifically for this.

What is PDR?
Paintless dent removal is the process in which you essentially "massage" dents out using a combination of glue pulling, pressing, and tapping down.

Benifits of PDR?
There are many benifits to pdr. The first is the ability to get your dent fixed at a fraction of the price it would cost for you to take it to a body shop for the same repair. You save down time that you normally would have by eliminating you having to keep your car at a body shop. It eliminates the cost of you having to rent a car or finding other means of transportation(this applies mainly to your bigger dents). Your car maintains it's oem paint so you don't have to worry about your paint not matching or blending other body panels. You maintain your oem parts.

Downsides to PDR?
There really aren't too many, the first would be the slight possibility of pulling off the paint if glue pulling is needed, although rare and differs from car to car and whether or not it's been resprayed. Possibility of not coming out to 90-100%, some dents will simply not come out perfect depending on location, size, how much a panel has been stretched, whether or not there is a brace in the way, etc.

When PDR is not the right option?
If you have a big dent on a easily replaceable body part(hood, trunk, fenders) and your paint is cracked or peeling as a result of it being dented in any way, it MAY be a cheaper route to get a new part and having it resprayed.

Price?
Pricing will start at $75 for dings, $100 for deep dings/dings quarter size or larger.
Dents will be dependent on the location/size/type of dent(crease, body line, etc.)/Accessability/etc.
The best way for me to give you an accurate quote is by providing me with pictures at mulitple angles.
I will be more than happy to come out personally to look at your dent although i will charge a $25($35 for OC) non-refundable fee for me to come out which will be applied to the price of the dent if you do decide to have me fix it.

And as always you can see all my recent work on my FB page HERE

nice !!

This is a great alternative to getting rid of those nasty looking dings.. I see alot of nice rides with lil dings on them wondering why they don't get "Paintless Dent Removal" done..

I've personally had about 5 dings on my car taken out and you cannot tell one bit..

I've had a large dent in my last g that I couldn't believe it could be fixed with this system...

Good luck.. and people.. get your dings/dents out of your rides..

^yeah i agree, also i think alot of people just don't know about PDR. Whenever i talk to people about it more than 50% have no idea or have heard of it but don't really know what it is, even actual car people. So although it's been around since the early 90's it's still relatively unknown to many.

Porsche i did yesterday. This location had no tool access so the only option was to glue pull. Customer was more than happy.

Does this work for those pesky 'guy next to you parked too close and opened their door into yours' dings? Do you give a discounted rate if I have maybe 5 little such dings?

Thx
Chris
