Question Hollywood Sign Hike - help

Me and my friend are planning a hike to the Hollywood sign, but i cant find information on where to park.

If you take Canyon Dr off of Franklin going towards the Hollywood sign you enter a park area where you can park your car. Then continue walking in that same direction and you will start to see the trail. This is also the area where the 50's TV series Batman cave was shot, you would see Batman and Robin shooting out of a cave in the bat car. The route that bigc gave you is shorter and quicker to the sign, but since you said hike, the one that i mentioned might be what you are looking for. I am hiking almost every weekend at Griffith Park. Lots of fun trail for those that enjoy hiking.

Also Runyon Canyon is a great hike, maybe you can google it and get directions on how to get there....and you could find street parking for that. I do it every Sunday Morning. Great way to start the day ..
