Just moved from Hawaii to SC

Just wanted to say hi to everyone on this forums. Not sure how many live near me. I am in the Alhambra area, near Montary Park. Just moved here from Hawaii and was wondering if there were ppl that meet up and hang out and also what mods ppl have done

Welcome to Cali man. I grew up in Kaimuki and have been in Cali for a few years now. Ahambra/MP is a great area, I have family down there who I visit every month or so.

Aloha and welcome to So. Cal.! Both my parents were born and raised on Oahu, so about 80% of my relatives still reside there. Though I was born up here in CA, I spent a lot of time on Oahu while I was growing up [used to go back twice a year, all of winter break and the entire summer vacation]. Now days, I still try to go back once every couple of years.

There is a good sized population of Hawaii transplants here in the region, so that you will help to make the transition easier...

welcome aboard!

I'm just down the 60 from you near the Puente Hills Mall. There are plenty of us in the area. I'll be traveling next week, but you should consider hitting the Chino Hills meet. It's about 20-25 minutes from your place.

Cheers, Ted

Welcome to Cali! If you want to meet some of us come out on the 18th to Chino Hills and have dinner with us. We currently have 16 signed on and total we have about 35+ cars that will be there at the meet.

what do you do for work? just wondering why it would keep you from comming out
Hawaii is beautiful but California has more options for "travel" you'll love this place. Try 6mt. net, a lot of the members here are there as well.

Welcome to the area. I actually live ~7 miles from Alhambra AND I also work for one of those slave-driver CPA firms. Busy season is tough.
