Ok my mom's old mercedes s320 has been having problems and the main problem now is the trunk wont close. She got some guy to tie some metal piece to it which I think is pretty unsafe. Im trying to find a shop that will fix her trunk but no luck.

Im assuming its the latch? Any help will be appreciated and if you end up fixing it I will def pay $$$
