There's no need to set up a poll.
I'm being stubborn about this on principle. What's fair is fair, we're always trekking out to your part of town. If you guys want to play so bad, then you come down to our part of town. It's obvious that it's a hassle for us to drive out there, yet tinman says he doesn't mind driving at all. If that's the case, what's the problem?

If you guys seriously want to ball, come down to Irvine, we have soft courts and hoops with nets on them, rather than the milk crates posted on the telephone pole that you guys are used to.

 

the plan (my end) was to stop by my shop in the morning and get my springs installed and head over to the game in DB, which is only about 5 min away from my shop...i''m still down to go to irvine to play, but i dunno if i'll be able to make it in time. i was planning on stopping by my shop around 10am-ish and get the install done (1-2hrs max) and head to the game, but if its in irvine it'll probably take me another 1.5hrs to drive down there with the traffic n all. so i probably won't get there till probably 1 or 2pm.

how long are u guys gonna play for? if u start at 12 and still wanna have lunch does that mean u guys will be done at 1 or 2pm? i'm still down to play (wherever the location is) and i'll do my very best to get there in time to play. i haven't played bball in almost 5yrs so i'm itching to get back on the court.

 

Alright - there's no need to get all "huffy and puffy" over this... if you guys want to keep the game up in DB, then some of us OC'ers will resort to balling with you guys next time around when the game will be held closer to south OC... no need to shed tears

no biggie - besides my kids, basketball is my life; I come ready to ball anytime, anyday... so whatever works... no stress

I agree with Mark, what ever you guys want to do. If we can figure this out soon would be nice gotta let some of the Z guys know if we are changing location. I just really want play!!! See you Sat, if not, see you next time around.

How many confirmed do you guys have? Hopefully there's enough for full court 5-on-5....

 

Looks like 2-4 from the Z forum but should have more and we have about 6-8 here on this forum and if you bring your 2 friends, we should be able to run a 5 on 5. I think we should have enough to run a couple of 5 on 5 games and the weather should be nice and not as hot as last time.

I can spread the word some more if you guys want but I'm not sure how big you guys want this meet to get. Sometimes average size meets are just as fun.

 

okay... unfortunately, my friends were only going to join me if we played in Irvine.... DB is far for them.... coming from HB.....

dude guys i'm sick!!! damn this funky LA weather. i'm still gonna try and make this game, but don't count on me as a definite. i dunno if i'll be able to bring my "A" game...i was hoping on hitting tripple digits tomorrow but looks like the only tripple digit i'll be hitting is a 110 fever. lol
