I don't know if this would be stupid or impossible but I was thinking it would be cool
to get a picture of each member standing by there G. I mean since there is going to be a big turn out. It would be pretty cool I think. I'll bring my digi cam and tripod and fourhundred and sixty five sticks of mem. ahhaha <-----Not really that many

What does everybody think?
if you're serious then I can bring along a laptop... so you dont need a billion mem sticks. I'll even burn the cds for you

I agree that's a good idea, but honestly what I think we really need is a website that documents this event. It's a mere suggestion and I have no means nor knowledge to setup an website. I have pics from many meets from last year but nowhere to host pics. It would be great if someone with the knoweldge and time and setup a simple page to setup a site.

I was thinking since we have over 100 people there, maybe we should try to organize event alittle bit. I know we are not an official club but there are things we can do to make the event more worthwhile for everyone attending. I know we don't have too much time, but here are some suggestions:

Set up different areas at the meet:

For example:

1) INFORMATION (just to take pics, general info, direction for people not familiar with the area, tech information sharing and discussion) Manned by people familiar with the immediate area, people with specific knowledge on mods, hosts.

2) Market Place (for people who want to sell stuff - just post a note on table with a list of stuff you want to sell, price you want and cellphone number. If there are interested buyers, they will contact the buyer on site through cellphone) This can be done on a small table next to the Information tent.

3) Food and drink area. (obviously for pizza, drink, trash collection, pizza fee collection) Need covering tent for the ice and drink. Hopefully we have someone bringing more tents for this.

4) Vendor area.

If possible it would be best if people can bring some folding chairs for themselves. If you guys need help setting up the event PLMK.

there will be NO vendor and market place area.meaning no products display on table or anything like that.deal can be make in your trunk of your cars.
information, food & drink and vendor peoples as well as trash bags can be found at the tents area.
officialy the meet is at 11:00am but i will be there at 10:00am to get things started.if some of you guys can make there by 10:00 to help out, that would be great.

I was going to have my good friend go and set up a tent and all his DJ stuff so he can DJ the event. But I forgot there is no power out there. We would need some generators. He has got some serious equipment!!!!
