Hey guys, thought i would share my good experience with a wheel repair company that is mobile here in SoCal. Company is called "Onsite Wheels" based out of Westminster.
I curbed my TE37SL last week when a cab pulled out in front of me and i had to swerve, and hit a low curb. still pretty bummed about it. Then my friends referred me to a wheel repair company run by Son Tran. I did a google search on him, i guess he's a legend. So I gave him a call. (714)742-6855...
He was very prompt, very professional. I highly suggest making an appointment, the dude is everywhere around LA. Showed up in his Honda Ridgeline with the truck bed full of paint mixes, air tools, air compressor and generator... he can pretty much mix colors in real time.
my TE37sl is diamond black. and after the repair, it seemed like nothing ever happened.
i'll let the pictures do the talking.
Damage done. sad panda

Son masking off the area and prepping prior to working

I also had him repair a slight scuff mark on my CE28Ns.. also diamond black at the same time... here you can see him use the rotary sander to remove material to even it out.

the scuff is now down the bare aluminum. i nearly cried when i saw this.. but i had to assure myself.. this is necessary

another angle. it's super smooth and polished pretty much and ready for base coat application

spraying on the base coat

first layers of paint coat

time to hit it with the darker metallic

it's almost done. just needs clear...

clear coat applied, and now in the sun to see the color matching.. WOW

another angle

Son was so patient with me the entire time. showing me how he does the job, he didnt have to do this, but he did to make sure i knew it was being done right. the CE28N came out just as good. just didnt have time to take those snapshots... then when my wife came home early, i had him repair two gloss black SE37Ks that were on her outback... and those came out superb as well.
His prices were very very reasonable for the labor and overall quality. i would have paid more. and i tried. but he wouldnt take the extra money. really a stand up guy.. i highly recommend him. he can do any wheel, except for chrome.. if the wheel is bent, he says he sends it out to get the bend repaired and then he finishes up the paint.
if you guys are interested in contacting him, please do, all his work is via word of mouth referrals... i plan on going back to him for some fixes to my RE30's barrels when the time comes...

It all depends on how damaged your wheels are. He'll work with you, He charged me less than what he initially quoted me.
