SMOG needed Downtown San Diego area...

Looking to get my SMOG done asap. I have HFCs and exhaust that have no CARB stamp so I need someone that can overlook that. everything else (including emissions) should have no problem passing. located near downtown San Diego. Thanks guys.

With CA. Star system you'll find it very close to impossible to find what you're looking for! No one issues CARB stickers for HFCs, where you been? Put your OE cats back on, drive for 20 miles and go to any smog station state wide! You didn't throw/sell your OE cats?

Can you imagine paying a dishonest smog shop $500= to pass your G illegally? My shop charges me $60 to swap out my HFCs for OE cats and back every two years, don't you think that's reasonable? SD must have a shop where you can get this done for about the same cost.

So you go to a separate shop from where you get your smog to do that right? Lol. I'm assuming so otherwise it'd be pointless.

Some shops charge $200 which isn't bad considering what may be done to the car. In your situation though, just pay for the labor to have the cats swapped.
