That is,i'm moving...

while i'm working in ontario,i hear loud noises like someone throw thousands of rocks on the roof.open the door look outside and it pouring ice on my car.yep,hailing..so much for sunshine southern california.

yesterday morning on the way to work,i ran into a big puddle of water.and my twin turbo instead of sucking air,it sucks water in.the result, the car stalled.after several hours of disconect the intercoolers and piping, drain out all the water.the car is back to action.about 2 cups of water being drain out from the intercoolers.

2 days before that saturday.on the way of taking my other car to have an oil change service.i hit a big fat pot hole on freeway.it on 60 west just before it merge onto 57,on 2nd lane (with 1st lane being the far right lane).the rims are ok but the right front tire wasted.

3 days before that on wednesday.another pot hole incident.this time it's 1st lane on 71 south right before mission.the left front tire messed up.

all because of the frickin rain.it either my bad week or i'm starting to hate socal weather.....ok,i'm done bitching.back to work now..

Vegas is calling your name. It's strangely wet out here too, but the roads are better.

Tinman-you could always move up north with us guys. Heck the potholes are usually all filled up with hard-pack snow and ice, and the snow is a lot easier on your car then that hot sun and hailstones. You are welcome to stay at my place until you can find a spot of your own.
Sorry Tinman, I'm just wishin I was in a warmer place right now. It really sucks when you can't even give your ride a good hand washing or wax for 4 months.
I managed to wax my alloy winter rims today to protect them from the salt cause it had warmed up to 32F.

Yeah. Seriously, what's up with So Cal weather this month. I hear we are close to breaking some really long standing rainfall totals. I am afraid to drive out there b/c of the potholes. I have stock 19s.

the rain has been gradually destroying my g. just last night, driving in the rain my scratch guard/front cover fell off and pretty much deteriorated on the fwy...i had to pull over on the side of the fwy in the pouring rain and use my shoelace to tie it back onto the bumper.

Cool

Hang in there Steve! Spring is coming. A couple of more months and none of this will matter any longer.

I think I read before that you're a Meguire's fan, but when Spring arrives, that means Zaino to me. Daniel_G and I will be treating our G's as soon as this rain comes to an end. If you'd like, hit us up for a "detail." You'll be glad you did!

Dude, WTF? That pot hole has been there for months! Way before this recent big storm. Thats where all the big trucks get stuck waiting for the traffic light. You can't possibly mean that you never noticed it before? Hell, even in my SUV , during the summer I stay out of that lane.

Cheer up Steve, its not that bad. Its better than waiting for the bus in ths weather. ( I saw someone waiting for the bus here in Chino Hills. Damn thing only comes by once a day!)

move to the northeast, some of our pot holes are like 2-3 feet deep and like 2 feet wide, the roads here are just so bad and the weather sucks, i can't wait to move to cali.

I hit an invisible pot hole today.

Pulling out of a gas station, i was turning onto a street when *BAM!!!!!*
The front right corner of my car falls and i can already draw a mental picture.
(Car is riding on the front left splashguard)
People walking across the street look back, see what's going on, and make a face like they smelt some bad cheese.
I slowly ease forward, the car continues to ride the front left splash guard, then the front left wheel finally touches the other side of the pot-hole and pick up the car again.

Wheel seems to be fine. But i think we're gonna need to start up a group buy for the splash guards. Anyone down? lol.

i effing *HATE* the rain.
blame EVERYTHING on it.
