Need Help pricing custom Volk te37 superlaps GOLD

So I have a set of te37sl's that I purchased less than a week from their release date. Paid about $5,400 +/- shipped to my door from Japan. Since then I have refinished the wheel and had them "24k gold dipped" (24k is the color, no its not real gold lol) that all ran me an additional $1,300 +/- . In total I'm around $6,500 +/- in on these wheels. I have a bit of time before I can list them so I'm looking for a little help in trying to find an appropriate price that might seem fair to the market. I'm not looking to just give them away and would like to make some cash back on them but don't want to price too high and have them sitting around either. Wheels are pretty much mint besides one small mark (on one of the lips (smaller than a dime)

I was going to raffle these off and give a portion of the proceeds to a non profit veterans charity but apparently in California if you raffle and use a charity you must donate 90% of that amount raised so that isn't working for me unfortunately.

THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE AD. just need help with pricing

You will not get more than 3500
Start the pricing around there.

Didn't you already post these up on my350z?
3500 is a decent price for them, having the gold kinda decreases value as it's not the original anymore

I have them listed in a couple different places @ $4,500-$4,800 through forums and on FB groups but the only offer I got was for $4000 but the guy didn't follow through so started thinking that my asking price was too high. In my head, the custom finish would have added a bit of value due to the fact that these are most likely the only high gloss gold te's on earth but apparently that assumption of adding value just wasn't true. I've been dropping the price on all listings to $3,500 through CL and other places for the past couple days now.

You have my attention. Was considering doing so but didn't want to risk losing money through the PayPal if someone was unhappy they didn't win. I see MANY different companies holding raffles and also making a profit and zero donations towards charities so just wondering what the loop hole must be.

Making something custom and unique will narrow your range of interest as it will only be of "value" to the right person but not collectively. Same goes for selling a modified car, you'll get way less interest than if you had a stock car.
I actually love the gold, but not 4k love

I'd leave it at 4K since someone might offer you 3500.
