Barely pulling 300 .. That's like 5 city to one highway. 17.3mpg according to my car.

Before I did anything to my car I could get ~ 330 per tank... about the same as I got in my I30, although it only had an 18.5 gallon tank and the light would come on at 3 gallons left.

I get 24 - 25 on the highway these days If I drive real nice... but my baby is always
whispering..."Hit me daddy, ooohhh, hit me again...." then of course the miles drops...

And when you keep getting those morons in the fast lane doing 59 mph, you sort have to thump it and pass them.... OK, maybe you don't need to hit 100 everytime, but... well maybe you do

I got 16.3 mpg this last tank. Right about where it always is. I tend to have a heavy foot. But even a trip to vegas only got me 22 mpg...

You guys should consider yourself lucky. I get around 13-14 mpg every tank. Of course I drive about 10 miles per day all in the city, but still this sucks. I don't even gun the engine since I see so many stop signs in my neighborhood.

Unhappy

I've been getting 16-18mpg mixed. Kinda disappointed since the
window sticker's EPA ratings were 20 city and 27 highway.

My previous car, a Mitsu Eclipse GS-T modded to 300hp got 21mpg mixed.
I'm missing it.

they got cheap gas!!!...but no station aruond where I live...

I get about 20-22 before the break in...and now, barely 300, which is about 18 before I reach the "E".... difference in driving style?..may be..

4:1 highway vs city

Or maybe you have a light foot rather than a leadfoot.

I've gotten 370+miles on a tank on a trip from NYC back to BOS. The empty light was on for 20 miles and I just ignored it.

btw: There is no such thing as light foot - either lead foot or sissy foot.
