Sorry Kia, clay is pretty much what it is... Clay.
Whatever type of clay is used for "claying cars", what it does it picks up the contaminants on the surface of the clear coat.
So in essence, it's not really "smooth sanding" your car, it basically picks up the airbourne contaminants due to our beautiful socal weather.

Depending how much damage the bird crap did, the clay will pick up the etched residue left behind that POS bird.

Just make sure to use soapy water when claying the surface down.
wash again, rinse and make sure to put some kind of wax afterward because after claying the clear coat on your car will be raw like Danyo's mom's punani.

i dont think hes talking about cleaning the poopy off, but fixing the paint that got hazy due to the acid in the poopy...

once again, claybar wont do anything...
