I need to strip the paint off some rims, and then I'm going to polish them. The polishing part I can do myself, but it's a pain to try and strip the paint myself.
I just need a good method, whatever it may be, to get this done.

Hi Albert,
Avoid sand blasting if you plan on polishing. Polishing a grit blast finish will be a nightmare X 10. You will be polishing endlessly to get a good finish.
I suggest trying an industrial strength paint stripper and scouring pad first. After polishing you could get a chrome or nickle flash to keep the finish fresher longer.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I was starting to lean more towards a strong paint stripper. I heard that Bix is pretty good. We'll see.
