My car is getting tinted right now. 20 for the back and 35 on the sides... tell me that it's dark enough because i feel like I should have gotten 20 all around. thx.

I have the same tint% as you. It looks good IMO. Not too dark that cops will give you S*#$. But at the same time, dark enough for style and functionality. Looks sexy and not too ricey.

I did the same thing I have 15% all around and Im not happy. So my shop is going to take it off and put 5% on tonight... You can always change what is already done.....Cheer Up Bud..

 

haha thanks everyone! especially andrew for telling it how it is. haha i guess i should have mentioned that im getting the tint for free and its in BFE at a shop that has never seen a g35 before it looks like a good shop just not a lot of infinitis in this neck of the woods. whats weird though is that i had a dream about getting my windows tinted a few nights ago... i went with 5% all around and 50% on the windshield haha.. woke up before i got to see it in my dream though.. haha

Eldy...I have the same tint as you....here is a pic. You will like it, its perfect and you won't (cant guarantee in glendale) that you wont get SHlT from cops. Ones overcast day, second is normal day, and the last is a sunny day...looks good IMO.

 

limo tint all around? sounds familiar...sounds like a certain g35chick in an IP 6mt coupe who can't see at night...and certain times during the day...bobble head ro-ro (pun greatly intended).

 

yeah baby...5% limo tint all around...thats JDM yo! with all the overlays to match that add 10 hp...OOoOh YeAyUuHh...YOU KNOW HOW I DO.

 

Eldy when you come to the meet, you can see my 5% all the way around and my 50% front windshield.

I got pics! I'm happy with it.. didn't get a boner or anything.. could stand to be 20%.. good news is that it looks like there is an imperfection in the tint on the passenger side and it may have to be redone so I can ask for 20%.. Need to wait a few days to be sure though..
