Dynos were uncommonly low... Gs normally in the 245-260 range were pulling 210-225... It was overcast and cool in the am, not sure why such a huge discrepancy. Of 7 Gs only 2 or 3 dyno'd...

Since the only two FI cars didn’t dyno (Tinman is still breaking in and Kamal plain breaking) there were no real fireworks on the Dyno today... Hope your oil leak isn't severe Kamal, it sure was screaming' though for Derek's video! Tinman, can't wait for you to finish your break-in period, we're all anxious to see what it will do!

The AMS guys were cool... Thanks for the pizza AMS!

Good to see everyone today... See you again at Churches!

duuuuude the most retarded thing ever! I came home and really checked the problem and I found something out.... its not oil that was leaking but its power steering fluid. I found this out cause my power steering level has been low. The AMS guys even said that the oil level was fine and I checked again and it was, but DAMN it was JUST POWER STEERING FLUID! I know I have a leak but im gonna get that fixed this week for sure. MAN I was sooo pissed when I found that out cause I wanted to see some solid numbers outta my ride. Derek, you gonna put that video up right man? Can you link it on here so I can just check right on here and some other people may wanna see my car in action. Thankx man

I was going to let the guys that dyno'd post their numbers since I didn’t write them down... but if I remember correctly Drewer was 211,217,225hp (not sure of TQ but it was proportionate)... There was a new guy; just got his G recently I think he only had exhaust but after talking with everyone seems like he might be doing more mods soon (real nice guy, sorry I forgot name) I think his dnyo was 210-220 range (not certain), there was one other G that dyno'd but I don’t remember his numbers - I think they were in the same range.

There was a modded Mustang (previous year model, not the new one) his best was 339hp 320+TQ, and his buddy had the same car stock - 300+Hp and similar TQ (don’t remember the numbers exactly). One of the most impressive to me was a modded turbo GTI (I think) 231hp he said that's at least 40 less than normal (it was happening to everyone). Then towards the end of the day there were some Civic's - I have no idea what their numbers are, DaveO and I were the last Gs and we left when the Civics were still dynoing.

That sucks!!! It was bizarre that he said "major oil leak" yet the oil level was fine. It did look like oil on the ground where you were parked though... Oh well, better to be safe than sorry I guess. Glad to here it's not as major as it could have been! BTW - how fast were you going on the drive by for Derek’s video?...

i agree on that Dyno posts uncommonly low numbers.the one with 339hp was a mustang SVT supercharged.

Hey guys I ran a 211/215/214hp I dont remember my TQ the papers still in the car. I was really annoyed one because they didnt do A/F and the numbers were so off. I did however get some great knowledge from DaveO and am re-thinking some mods

Clint,

All the dyno sheets I was able to see were SAE corrected with 5 smoothing. By the way, AMS had no way to determine coolant temperature (and I couldn't help as my Techtom is loaned out).

Sorry it's taken me so long to post. . .

I'm getting bronchitis. . .(101*F fever today. . .BUMMER!) Wash your hands everyone! Anyway, I'll post what I can from memory. . .so they may not be exactly right, and then I'll fix it tomorrow. . .

AMS dyno day, 3rd gear, let off at 6600RPM (6 gal. 100 octane, ~2 gal. 91 octane, ~97.75 effective?):
run 1: 211 HP, 195 TQ, Temp ~88*F, Baro 29.66
run 2: X (he ran it and then said "yo. . .you still got two more pulls, and then they did some stuff on the computer)
run 2: 217 HP, 197 TQ, Temp ~88*F, Baro 29.66
run 3: 215 HP, 196 TQ, Temp ~88*F, Baro 29.65

I did get a lot of good info outa DaveO too. . .thanks for being there with the SportZ Mags. . .and the "sheet." I'm going to be making a few changes to my current ride now wrt heat too. . .I was REALLY bummed about the AF reading. . .that is what I REALLY wanted to see. . .oh well. . .next time. Looks like one step colders to see if it helps. . .

Stillen day 3rd gear, let off at 6600 RPM, tank o' 91octane:
run 1: 245 HP, 221TQ, Temp ~75*F, Baro 29.91
run 2: 247 HP, 224TQ, Temp ~76*F, Baro 29.91
run 3: 248.5HP, 227TQ, Temp ~76*F, Baro 29.92

Needless to say, I was happier with the stillen day results.

I hope to see the "kamal drive by" vid up soon! Thanks again everyone for the good time. . .(and BBQ, I mean pizza ) See ya at Churches.

-drew
