Anyone planning to Tint their Gs

You guys should check out California Tint in Rosemead (between Rosemead blvd & Mission behind doughnut shop) they now file the edges down on the front two windows.. makes it look pertty clean. They also use a different solution for the dot matrix that makes it about 85% perfect.

if anyones interested PM me and i'll get you a deal.. or IM me on AIM riceboi104

Hey! I think I remember them! I think its been about 6 years! If I'm thinking of the same place... they also do other little things too. I think I got my "fast blinkers" done there on my Honda. They made it so my front parking/blinker light would run on the high filament all the time, instead of the 5w filament, so it realy bright and match my headlights

What brand of tints do they use? I'll only use Lumar's Forumla One tint on my cars.

yeah.. the other guy does small stuff like lowering, putting one exhuast, minor bolt on installs.. hes pertty good with his electrical work.

the boxes are labeled Johnson.. iono if thats the film brand or not.. i can call to find out if anyones interested.. my friend got his tint 4 years ago (IS300) I now have the same % as him and I cant tell the difference... plus if theres any problems i'll get it fixed.

anyways.. just posting this cause i brought my friend to get his 05 G done a few days ago and they filed down the windows for him.. the tint looks factory with NO gap.. I'll try to get some pictures the next time i see him

Oh, and what do you mean, they filed down the front two windows? Why would they need to do that?

I got my car tinted there, good work.

They use Johnson's Window Film there.

Why do I have to call you to get a good deal, do you work there or something?

when you normally tint the windows the just cut the film to fit onto the window creating a gap between the edge of the window and the film. when they file down the film it'll sit right on the edge of the film giving it a factory look.

Use to have a friend that works there and his cuzin still works there. Also I use to live in temple city and couple of my friends knew the owner.. thats how i know them.. but if you want to get really hooked up.. go find some hot lady to drive your car up there for you

I've been going to Tint Works Plus in Walnut for many many years. Only thing that sucks is that they dont carry Lumars Forumula One tint anymore. Anyone know of any shops around here that carry it?
