Well, once you're able to start PM'ing, I think you should apologize to Kyle. Or make a public announcement in the section where you were originally got into "trouble".

I know your intentions were good by instructing everyone on how to disable the ads, but as I mentioned earlier, those ads keep this site running. Not to add insult to injury but I don't think you can clearly say that you did "nothing wrong".

If the "Dwoloz" handle means that much to you, swallow your pride and apologize.
But if you ask me, I think "Name" is cooler.

Hey, if Kyle thinks it's justified, it is. He owns the site, he sold his biz so he'd be able to develop it... he's allowed to do what he thinks is right. It wasn't that you told people how to disable the ads (hell, I did it), it's that every once in a while when you've had a hard day working on something, seeing someone berate your work is the last thing you need. The ads are a necessary evil to keep this place running, and Kyle even took them down because people came to him with their concerns. That's how things work: handle it with civility, you're met with action and civility.

That being said, just shoot Kyle an email in the future if you've got a problem. I can't believe he'd ban you for that, rather just tell you, 'f*ck off, I work hard on this so keep your comments to yourself'. Sure you didn't do anything else?

EDIT: If I ask Kyle and he's not gotten a quick 'sorry' by tomorrow, the IP's banned. Coming back and calling him a **** wasn't exactly handling the situation with tact. Honey, vinegar, flies... any of this ringing a bell?
