Can someone recommend a paint shop in the San Jose Bay Area. I need to get the 3 pc. - side sills and rear bumper bottom painted to match the rest of the car and the Nismo fromt bumper that I installed over the weekend. Thanks in advance.

 

Pio Pro in Newark is pretty good for these type of things. Talk to Richard. I'm going to have him paint my stillen hood when it arrives.

 

How much should I expect to pay to get these 3 pcs. painted? My guess would be around $300 or less.
How much is he charging you for painting the hood?

 

I asked about the side sills and rear bumper before I got my Nismo Aero Kit. I think he said it was something in the neighborhood of 500-700 bucks. Expensive I know, which is why I went with the Nismo Kit.

He will paint my hood for roughly 300 bucks.

 

WTF! Why so much to paint the 3 pcs? Should be cheaper than the hood. I guess i'll look around somewhere else who can do it for $300 or less.
I'd like to see your car after your Stillen SC is installed.

 

You could try Miracle or Earl Scheibs. realize you get what you pay for. I would rather spend a little bit more and get it done right.

 

The Black plastic supposedely needs to be properly prepped otherwise a year or so down the line you will start to see that you really get what you pay for. I have heard of other shops charging less, but I wouldn't take a chance unless you see their work in person.

I'm just waiting and waiting for the SC to arrive. You are welcome to check it out once its in.
