I'm bringing in my car for the 7,500 mile service, and they quoted me $120. I had my 3,500 done for $45 (at the same dealership). Anyone think the $120 is too much or should I just pay it....? I know it would be so much cheaper if I do it myself, but that's kinda out of the question.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

It's all "inspection" except for the oil change. It's a rip, but then if you have a problem in the future, the dealer can always say that you did not do your prev. maint.

So if you do it yourself, keep a log book! Like a diary, it is admissable in court (as long as it is not done the night before the case, with the ink still being wet)

Cheers, Ted

Skip it. Scheduled service is every 15k, thats where something is actually done. All these extra ones they make up is just to sucker you.
