How the F*?

How did I get owned by an M3 again even with my supercharger? Was he modded or something wtf? I was at his back bumper the whole time. I don't get it I'm sad now.. I know I toasted 2 already but this one insulted my a-s

It's called linear powerband. Even though you're putting down significantly more peak hp than an M3, it doesn't necessarily mean that a Vortech will be faster than an M, especially up top. I have found a very simple solution to this problem myself, just get an M3...

Been there done that but don't remember it being that fast..

If your M was brand new, that's why. They need a little more than a few thousand miles to run their best.. pretty much any other car is the same way. I've been told that at 20k miles an M3 feels like a totally different car compared to new. And N/A mods will help the M as much as they help the G, haha.

150 pounds of audio equipment will mean a lot. i know because i have felt the diffirence...

I've raced a few M3's and they have never "owned" me. I've either been even with them or a little behind....but not by much. Maybe you cant launch your car well since its 5AT?

LOL! Yep. Its the added mass of the equipment.

And if the stereo is thumping at the same time it will slow it down even more. 2 JL 12's can suck down a lot of current, putting even more load on the engine.

Well I concluded it was modded some how because I raced another one on saturday and won from a dead stop Black onw with SMG. lol Got my damn revenge. PLus the day I Lost to the red one I had 2 extra passengers in my car and we were on the freeway.
