FARG!! CHP are LYING AHOLES

I went to court today and the CHP officer lied through his anus and the pre-tem (sp?) judge believed him. Now I am filing an appeal which will probably get shot down because Law enforcement never lie and uphold the law Sorry, I just had to vent.

Yeah... I'm still fighting my ticket. Apparently I was speeding... going 60mph on a 65mph freeway! I thought that would have been an easy win for me... I thought wrong. I'm on my second round right now... also filed an appeal.

Yeah, I am starting to get po'ed at this also. Most of the times, the cops cannot remember what happened 3-6 months earlier. With an arrest report, they can read that to see what happened. But with a traffic ticket they cannot. So cops that do not take notes actively lie when they are on the stand. They say they remember stuff when they actually do not. What you have to do is have meticulous notes yourself. Even ask the cop where he was when he saw you, how he followed you, what kind of cars where around, what the weather was like, etc.

If the cop cannot remember this stuff, and you do, you can usually get off due to the speed being safe under traffic conditions at the time. Or maybe even the cop will say something stupid because he doesn't really remember. That happened when I went to court on a traffic ticket. I presented certain facts about the situation, and the cop stumbled in his wording enough to cast doubt on his testimony and the Judge dismissed the ticket.
