Looking forward to our January meet when we aren't competing with the holidays and D1. Should have double the turnout easy!

I missed you guys. Ended up doing a solo run, but it was still a good time.

Cool pics. That's the first time I've seen someone bust out the painters tape for a canyon run. That's pretty hardcore....

How did the FXs do on the run? I have plenty of seat time in a FX35, but I've never thought about bringing it out to the canyons.

Ok so the next one is going to be in January. I'll get a thread started soon on that one. The great thing about these meets is whether every single car shows up or you only end up with 5 cars, they are still a blast!

I happened across that video on IS300. Hope you guys had fun and all, but you guys cross the double yellow way to much for my liking. http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=EIAqNNaoCBA

Don't know if you've ever had to break real hard or avoid another car after rounding a blind turn, but to put it lightly, it sucks. I'm all for a fast pace, but on a public road with opposing traffic, at least try to have some consideration for others.

This should go without saying, but the video isn't a true representation of the run. You cannot really gauge speed, etc from the video. Nor does it show the peripheral vision of a human. The passes made were allowed by both drivers, with no oncoming traffic, and the turns were not blind. By the way, all three of the cars there were communicating via walkie talkie.
