Bmw Dinan M3 vs. Izzy21' 6mt

Bmw dissapointed me. We were on sunset by ucla when I saw him up ahead. I was just bored and was taking a cruise, I didn't think he wanted to race. So first big long curve on there he punches the gas. By the time we got to the top of the hill I was ahead already. After that it got a little hard to have fun cause their were too many cars on the road. I am dissapointed in the m3, I thought it would have done better against my coupe. My car is completely stock, except for the 20" wheels and a z tube. When I past him on the driver side, I noticed he had just got it out of the dealer. He still had the cars info on the window.

yea, my first thought was maybe he's still breaking it in...

i've driven a M3 Dinan, and let me tell you it will definately eat our G's especially if the G only has a Z-tube... $hit, i remember when i test drove that bad boy, i had a HUGEEEE smile! lol

I agree with all your comments. I guess I should have started by saying the driver of the dinan dissapointed me. He did have a passenger though. I was however surprised at how well the g cornered. I was in 4th gear pushing red on one of the corners. I didn't get a glance at how fast I was going though. Too busy concentrating. He was a good sport though. Some guy in a clk convertible was trying to jump in on the fun, i'm sure you can guess where we left him.

Another thing I thought was cool was the sound of the M3 at wot. It was cool to hear. Not too loud, a good grunt though.

With good M3 driver no G can keep up with it.
I have only lost to one coupe since i had my G sedan(6mt) that was when i had my 19s on and the difference was 0.05 seconds. When i raced the M3 with 3 people in his car I thought i might keep up with him but i couldnt catch him after he got good jump on me. I myself won 2 e46 m3s but those were ****ty *** driver and i started to underestimate the capabilties of that car. But after the race with my friends M3 i know what that car is capable of.

So Good Kill but be carefull next time.

I don't think this guy cared. He lived off sunset, just east of the 405. I think he was happy to show it off since he was a young guy.

Don't make the M3 out to be that fast.... My friends SMG M3 was running 13.8-14.0 at the track... Plus SMG's can't launch over 1900 RPm's... But it's all the driver... I've taken out my friends SMG M3, and also lost to people who I've raced on the streets....

I had a run in with an E46 M3 one night.....he blew my doors right off and put more than 7 car lengths on me from a rolling 40mph....but i have to say the G did stick in there for a short ..and i mean short while..very impressive....he was taking it easy with the new m3....NO doubt....
