know any indoor shooting range?
i used to go to the one on Valley blvd in La Puente and one in Monrovia.i haven't go there for a very long time, wonder if they still open.any of you know any around? i want to go.mine are rusting
Haven't been there in a while but...
Last time I looked, the Brea Firing Line off of Berry and Central in Brea was still around. It's changed ownership a few times but should be still there.
Or, I think there are a few outdoor ranges up in the San Gabriel mountains. I usually tend to stay away from those due to the wanna-be "military, quasi cops and gangbangers" that usually frequent those. I know they've tightened up the security and rules and regulations but some of the knuckleheads still squeek by and like to take shots at your targets (personal experience).

I drove by one in Mission Viejo the other day. I haven't gone to the range since I moved out here from Texas last year. My HK is sooo lonely.
I've been wanting to go for a while, but just never get around to it.

Yea La Puente Firing Range on Valley is still open. Went there about 3 wks ago. There's an outdoor shotgun range out in Montebello right off the 60 fwy at the Rosemead Blvd exit. Here's a link with most of the ranges in California. http://www.nrahq.org/shootingrange/f...l.asp?State=CA

Too bad Lytle Creek range is no longer open. It was free...and dangerous.
Nothing like a bunch of rednecks pulling out refridgerators, stoves, cars, basically anything, opening a 12 pack of brew, and blowing up the stuff with 12 gauges.
Seriously, it was fun. Used to have one of those plastic hand throwers for the clay pigeons. Also fire away at whatever random stuff was on the range.
