Front license plate

If you get a fix it ticket for no front license plate in CA and put it back on what happens? Do they do more about it or just give you another fix it ticket?

You have to drill 2 holes for the original plate holder...you would figure at least an adapter

I put my plate on. If I get pulled over for no front plate, I will also be written up for front window tint and speeding as well. Not worth the risk for me

I suggest moving to a state that requires only a rear plate: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, & West Virginia (infor from 2002, so things might have changed). Oddly, a few states issue 2 plates but require only one be displayed.

Yup....relocate you're whole life for the sake of having no front plate.

pop099, there's been a lot of talk recently about changing that in Texas, but I suspect either gas stations or companies that manufacture the reflective material on plates (like 3M) have too strong a lobby.

I got 2 tickets in a parking lot that I park in everyday. Luckily it didn't require proof of correction. I just had to pay $25 each time. I finally gave in and got a.....CAR COVER! MUHAHAHA! No tickets since!
