Car Wash in Irvine/OC area?

I'm deploying in about a month to the sandbox, and I m leaving my G with my brother, who owns a 350z. Anyway he is too lazy to hand wash cars. My car is black without any swirl marks and I would like to keep it that way.

Where is a good car wash palce in the Irvine/OC area, and how do they wash it? By hand, pressure or big slappy things?

There's two more in Irvine worth considering.

The first one is on Alton and E. Yale loop. Right across the street from the Ralphs shopping center. Hand wash, decent amenities.

The second is on Culver and Michelson, across the street from the Wholesome Food marketplace. Haven't personally been to that one but the wife says they're decent.

Good luck in the sandbox. Watch your six and keep your head down.

The place on Culver and Michelson is called Alfie's or something similar.

Some friends swear the water down their gas.

i always take it to Car Spa...they're in the 99 ranch market mall on Culver and Irvine Cntr Dr. Handwash and if your car's too low(like mine), they can actually wash your car outside, instead of going thru the cycle. I think they'll charge you $15 more per wash, but they waive it to the members

Leaving your toys behind...........

I assume from the sound of it your brother doesn't
have a garage to keep your G safe and clean. If it's
going to sit outside for your term of deployment
why not buy a carcover with a lock? Good Luck, I
remember my time overseas......APO 143. Your car
isn't all you'll miss!

Yeah, forgot this one. This one I've heard really good things about.

Screw that! Garage that baby til you come back. I would never trust the carwash unless I'm super lazy, which I'm not.
