I have a question for you SoCal South Bayers. What bay is it?

I mean NorCal's South Bay is the San Francisco Bay. But I never found out what bay Torrance and PV Peninsula sits near.

chenga - we're really bayless, but the "south bay" is between los angeles proper and long beach. torrance and PV are about 12 miles south of LAX.

I found it! You guys are on the south end of the Santa Monica Bay. http://www.southbaycities.org/sbcities.htm

Hehe, Torrance is 12 miles south of LAX... You'd swear it's at least 30 miles by how long it takes to drive down PCH or I-405... Back when I lived in Ann Arbor, MI the airport was 30 miles away and took 25 minutes to reach.

More on topic, enjoy your stay in the South Bay. You're right near a great tuner at Church's and you can get your ECU rewritten anytime at Technosquare. I do wish I had those conveniences.

I've never been to a meet, so I'd definitely go. Just broke up with the gf, so now I have plenty of time for the important things.....

I'm over in PV and I'd be down for any type of meet in the South Bay area.
